While every Ram truck is built to perform under pressure, there isn’t anything quite like a good diesel motor to complete the most difficult tasks.
The new 2021 Ram 3500 Laramie can be equipped with the exceptional 6.7-litre Cummins High-Output turbodiesel Inline-6 engine. This monster pumps out 420 hp and an astonishing 1,075 lb-ft of torque.
Using an electronically-controlled Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission, it can manage a payload weighing up to 2,980 kg (6,570 lbs). As for towing, this beast can haul 16,828 kg (37,100 lbs) when properly geared.
In order to get that kind of pulling power from this heavy-duty pickup, you will need to add the Fifth-Wheel/Gooseneck Prep Group. Installed at the top of the bed, this will enable you to pull just about anything you can imagine.
